Stay curious – Seek to understand, listen intently and face the facts, especially when inconvenient or unfamiliar. We believe in continuous improvement and learning. Failure recovery is more important than failure avoidance. Stay curious and proactively learn the end to end system beyond your immediate speciality. This is how we preserve our approach with small yet mighty teams.
Speak up – Say what needs to be said with confidence, but remain humble and open to new information. We believe in servant leadership; supervisors work for their teams. Our teams are autonomous and empowered to have impact and drive progress– we want you to create your own destiny.
Focus on impact – Follow the strategic intent, weigh risks using best available information, and adopt a bias-to-action. Value delivered trumps the plan being fulfilled all day long. You should be comfortable focusing on objectives & outcomes (stepping out of your role if needed) as opposed to clinging to gates/ roles/ hand-offs/ process etc.
Be supportive – We share earnest and timely feedback to help each other grow and bring about the best in us. Trust is #1. Community and collaboration win out over reporting lines and org structure every time. Trust within, across, and outside your respective team or group is going to help you get there and cross the finish line.
